How your body may feel
- • Round-ligament pain when you move suddenly.
- • Skin changes such as darker patches on the face.
- • Hair may feel thicker.

- • Use sunscreen to reduce pigmentation.
- • Change positions slowly.
- • Keep iron-rich meals regular.
Milestone
Anomaly scan window — a detailed check of baby's growth and organs.
Seek care urgently if you notice
- • Severe headache that will not clear, or blurred vision and flashing lights
- • Any vaginal bleeding, or fluid leaking from the vagina
- • Sudden swelling of the face, hands or feet
- • Burning or painful urination, or fever
- • Reduced or absent baby movement once a pattern is established
