How your body may feel

  • Movements are strong and regular.
  • Itchy skin over the stretching bump.
  • Occasional leg cramps at night.

Self-care this week

  • Start noting your baby's daily movement pattern.
  • Report intense itching, especially on palms and soles.
  • Continue gentle daily activity.

Milestone

Glucose screening for gestational diabetes is often offered 24–28 weeks.

Seek care urgently if you notice

  • Severe headache that will not clear, or blurred vision and flashing lights
  • Any vaginal bleeding, or fluid leaking from the vagina
  • Sudden swelling of the face, hands or feet
  • Burning or painful urination, or fever
  • Reduced or absent baby movement once a pattern is established
