Bones are hardening and the baby can hiccup, though you cannot feel it yet.
How your body may feel
- • Appetite may return as nausea settles.
- • Skin darkening around the nipples.
- • Increased vaginal discharge that is clear or milky.
Self-care this week
- • Rebuild regular balanced meals if nausea has eased.
- • Report discharge that itches, burns or smells.
- • Keep gentle daily movement.
Milestone
The riskiest window for miscarriage begins to pass.
Seek care urgently if you notice
- • Heavy bleeding, or bleeding with clots
- • Severe pain on one side of the lower abdomen or shoulder tip pain
- • Fever above 38°C
- • Vomiting so much you cannot keep fluids down for 24 hours
- • Fainting or severe dizziness
