How your body may feel
- • No noticeable symptoms for most women.
- • A little spotting can happen as implantation begins.
- • Mild bloating is common.
Self-care this week
- • Continue folic acid.
- • Avoid alcohol, smoking and unprescribed medicines.
- • Keep meals balanced — no need to eat for two.
Milestone
Implantation begins in the uterine lining.
Seek care urgently if you notice
- • Heavy bleeding, or bleeding with clots
- • Severe pain on one side of the lower abdomen or shoulder tip pain
- • Fever above 38°C
- • Vomiting so much you cannot keep fluids down for 24 hours
- • Fainting or severe dizziness
